Job Description:
a. Lead the church in functioning as a New Testament church
b. Lead the congregation, the organizations, and the church staff in performing their tasks in carrying out the purpose of the church.
c. Work with the elders, deacons, and church staff in leading the congregation, the organizations, and the church staff in performing their tasks in performing their tasks to carry out the purpose of the church.
d. Proclaim the Gospel of Christ, building up the body of Christ in faith, and perform pastoral duties
e. Leader of worship, proclamation, evangelism, education, shepherding, and pastoral ministries.
f. Other duties as may be specified by the Church Board.
Minimum Educational Requirement -
1) Bachelors of Science in Theology from a recognized accredited Bible Seminary School
Spiritual Requirement -
1) Acceptance of Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior
2) Bona fide member of the Church of Christ under the Restoration Movement
We are looking for a mature individual who is a U.S. citizen or a legal U.S. resident (preferably resides in So. California) who would love to serve the Lord in a growing community church, who cares, loves and relates to people of diverse racial and ethnic backgrounds, possesses a burning desire to teach the Word of God and win souls, and faithfully serve in the local church.
About FCCC
First Christian Church of Carson (FCCC) is a new merged church between Carson Christian Church (founded 1950) and First Filipino American Christian Church (founded 1997). It is located in Carson, California. We have started worshipping together since January 2007. We are a church with attendance of approximately 100-125 each Sunday morning. The ages of people include 6 months - 95 years old. There are different nationalities in the church: Americans, Filipinos, Mexican, and Indian. We hold 1 worship service in English at 10:15 AM as well as different growth groups and bible studies on weekdays.
